POLA APEX skincare lot guide

APEX is POLA's Japanese personalised skincare system, with recommendations assembled across cleansing, lotion, serum, milk and cream steps. A consultation result or item-selection number describes the chosen care plan; it is not automatically the manufacturing lot.

Apex FAQ

What is POLA APEX?

It is a personalised Japanese skincare line that builds a recommended routine from multiple product steps.

Is an APEX consultation number the batch code?

No. Consultation and selection data describe the recommended item, not necessarily its production run.

Where can an APEX cream mark appear?

Look under the jar and on the lower or closing flap of its carton.

Reading a personalised POLA APEX product

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Inspect tube crimps, pump-bottle bases, jar undersides and carton bottom flaps. Japanese product stickers may carry the exact APEX item designation, volume and seller details beside a separate compact ink or debossed production line.
  • Retain the step name and selected formula information when photographing the mark. Two APEX packages can look closely related while representing different textures or recommendation outcomes, so code comparison should begin only after the sale units match.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Distinguish cleanser, lotion, serum, milk and cream before copying a number.
  • Check the original carton if a refill or pump base has only a short mark.

What to check next for Apex

For Apex, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
