Check Country & Stream Cosmetic Batch Code

IDA Laboratories' Country & Stream range spans honey lip serums, hand creams, nail oils, body care, UV gels and facial products. Limited fragrance initials and Japanese quasi-drug wording identify a variant or regulatory category, not the production batch.

Country & Stream FAQ

Where is the Country & Stream batch code?

Check the tube crimp, container base, rear label and outer packaging for a separate short mark.

Is HM or a fragrance letter the batch?

No. It distinguishes a product or scent variant; the production mark is separate.

Is the JAN barcode a manufacturing date?

No. It is a retail item identifier and should not be decoded as a lot.

Reading Country & Stream product codes

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Check tube crimps, bottle and jar bases, rear labels and carton flaps. For a small lip or nail product, inspect both the container and any card or outer sleeve because the short lot may be printed away from the front name.
  • HM, H, K or other variant letters, honey or fragrance wording, JAN barcode and product number identify a formula, scent or item. A batch is normally a separate inked, stamped or embossed string.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Follow an explicit expiry, PAO and the Japanese directions. Medicated body lotion and UV products should be used according to their labelled purpose and storage instructions.
  • Stop using a lip, hand or skincare product if its seal, smell, colour or texture changes; a batch estimate does not confirm condition.

What to check next for Country & Stream

For Country & Stream, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
