Feliscent scent numbers and production marks

KOSÉ's Feliscent range includes hair fragrance, hand gel, hand cream and body mist. The same scent reference can appear on different product types, so a matching fragrance number does not establish a matching production batch.

Feliscent FAQ

Is Feliscent 001 a batch code?

001 is one of the scent-selection references used across the range. Find the separate production mark on your own container.

Do Feliscent hand cream and hair fragrance with the same scent share a date?

Not necessarily. They are different formulations and packages. Check each item's own mark instead of transferring a date between them.

Does a discontinued Feliscent listing tell me my bottle's production year?

No. Discontinued status describes sales availability, not when an individual unit was made. Keep the original lot and packaging when asking KOSÉ about older stock.

Which Feliscent product are you checking?

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Keep the product type in the record: the hair fragrance is an 80 g spray, the hand gel is 60 mL and the hand cream is 50 g. Those size labels help distinguish the packages but do not date them.
  • References 001–005 select the scent variant. Inspect the actual container and any outer packaging for a separate production mark, preserving its full text and location rather than treating a three-digit scent reference as a lot.

Common lookup mistakes

  • KOSÉ marks the listed hair fragrance, hand gel and hand cream as discontinued. A resale listing or a recent purchase therefore does not, by itself, establish recent manufacture.
  • Follow the directions for the product type: hair fragrance is sprayed onto hair, whereas hand gel is spread over the hands and allowed to dry. Do not treat all Feliscent scented products as interchangeable perfume.

What to check next for Feliscent

For Feliscent, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
