Check an Inglot makeup mark

Inglot's Freedom System combines replaceable eye, face and lip pans with reusable magnetic palettes. The label can therefore show a product family, refill shape and prominent numerical shade reference, while products such as Duraline and AMC use their own bottle or tube formats. Those selection details are not the production lot.

Inglot FAQ

Where is an Inglot batch mark?

Check the individual refill label, carton flap, bottle base, tube end or rear label for a compact mark separate from the shade number.

Is a Freedom System pan number the lot?

No. It selects a shade and formula that can be produced repeatedly, so a different traceability mark is needed for production timing.

Can the palette code date all Inglot refills inside?

No. The palette is reusable and refills may be added at different times; identify each pan from its own sleeve or backing label.

Separate Freedom System references from traceability

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • For a Freedom System refill, inspect the pan's individual sleeve, backing label and carton before placing it in a palette. A reusable palette identifies its layout or capacity but cannot date every refill later inserted into it.
  • For Duraline, mascara, foundation or lipstick, check the bottle or tube base, cap seam, rear label and carton flap. Keep the formula name and shade visible because similar numerical references can belong to different product families.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Do not enter a shade such as a three-digit pan number, palette capacity, refill shape or certification reference as the batch mark.
  • Retain the small wrapper or photograph its label before discarding it; a bare magnetic pan may no longer preserve the clearest production mark.
