Check a Mavala product lot

Mavala's Swiss portfolio includes 5 ml Mini Color nail polishes, Scientifique K+ nail hardener, base and top coats, removers, hand care and makeup. A shade number and name such as Lugano, the 5 ml size, colour swatch or treatment name identifies the product; it is not the manufacturing lot.

Mavala FAQ

Where is a Mavala batch code?

Check the nail-polish bottle base, cap underside, tube crimp, container bottom and carton flap for a short separate mark.

Is the Mini Color number the lot code?

No. The number and place-inspired name identify the nail-polish shade, not its manufacturing batch.

Can a shade collection date my bottle?

Not reliably. A shade may remain on sale across multiple production runs, so use the unit's own traceability mark.

Separate Mini Color shade references from the batch

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Inspect the nail-polish bottle base, cap underside, carton flap, tube crimp and jar or bottle bottom. Keep the shade sticker visible but look for a separate short printed, stamped or etched traceability string.
  • Confirm whether the item is Mini Color, a treatment such as Scientifique K+, or hand/face care. Nail shades can remain in the range for long periods, so a shade launch or collection name cannot date an individual bottle.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Do not enter the shade number, 5 ml, colour name or barcode as the batch code.
  • Keep polish tightly closed and away from heat; thickening, separation that does not remix or an unusual odour is more useful than a date estimate alone.

What to check next for Mavala

For Mavala, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
