Check a Noxzema manufacturing code

Noxzema's current US range spans Classic Clean products such as Original and Moisturizing Cleansing Cream and Ultimate Clear products such as Daily Deep Pore Cleanser, Anti-Blemish Pads and Blemish Patches. The official FAQ identifies the short mark on the product as a manufacturing code, while the product name and package format establish which item it belongs to.

Noxzema FAQ

Where is the Noxzema manufacturing code?

Inspect the jar or bottle base, rim, back label and any carton or pouch seam for a short printed or embossed mark.

Is the barcode the Noxzema batch code?

No. The retail barcode identifies the product, while the manufacturing code identifies a production run.

Does a Noxzema code prove the product is still good?

No. Use the date with the label, storage history, seal and changes in smell, colour or texture.

Noxzema codes across jars, bottles, pads and patches

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Look around the jar base and rim, bottle base or back label, tub seam, pad jar and the carton or pouch seal for a compact printed or embossed code. Photograph it before discarding the outer pack and keep the full product name with it.
  • Do not confuse a UPC, barcode or retail stock number with the manufacturing code. Original Deep Cleansing Cream, Moisturizing Cleansing Cream, Cream Wash and Daily Deep Pore Cleanser use different containers, so the code position can move even within the same brand.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Close cleansing-cream jars promptly, keep fingers and washcloths clean and store the product away from sustained heat and direct sun. Stop using a product whose odour, colour or texture has changed markedly.
  • A decoded production date is context rather than a guarantee of condition. Follow an explicit expiry and the printed directions first; Noxzema describes its cleansing creams as rinse-off facial cleansers, not treatments for eczema or sunburn.

What to check next for Noxzema

For Noxzema, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
