OSiS+ Batch Code

Schwarzkopf Professional organizes OSiS+ by styling result and hold: Smooth & Shine, Curls & Waves, Volume & Body, Texture, and Hold. Products such as Glow, Bounty Balm, Curl Jam, Grip, Dust It, Mess Up, Elastic, and Freeze span aerosols, pumps, tubes, jars, and powder dispensers, so one code location does not fit the range.

Osis+ FAQ

Is the OSiS hold level the batch code?

No. It describes styling grip and remouldability; the production mark is separate.

Where is the code on OSiS+ products?

Look under cans, jars, and bottles, at tube crimps, or on a carton flap.

Can one salon bundle code date all products?

Not reliably. Each spray, balm, wax, or powder may have its own lot.

OSiS+ professional styling product lot check

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Check aerosol and powder bases, bottle shoulders or bases, tube crimps, jar bottoms, and carton flaps for a compact printed or embossed production mark. The OSiS hold level 0–4, IDH/product reference, barcode, product name, and salon-use text describe performance or inventory, not the batch date.
  • A mousse, hairspray, balm, wax, and texture powder age differently after opening and may react differently to heat or humidity. Identify the exact format before interpreting a code; a duo or salon bundle can contain independently produced items.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Record the full OSiS name, category, hold level, container type, size, and code; do not submit “OSiS+” alone when several products share similar graphics.
  • Keep aerosols away from heat and inspect clogged valves, loss of pressure, separation, dried texture, or an unusual odor regardless of the estimated manufacturing date.
