PDS Derma NailDOC dates and device identifiers

PediDerma Solutions (PDS) offers NailDOC Advanced Nail Care Serum and the handheld PediClear Pro FX light device. Both relate to nail and foot care, but one is a formula in a container and the other is equipment; their labels answer different questions.

PDS Derma FAQ

Does the PediClear Pro FX device use a cosmetic PAO period?

A cosmetic after-opening symbol concerns the contents of a cosmetic container, not the lifetime of this light device. Use PediClear's own operating, maintenance and warranty information for equipment questions.

Is NailDOC's 12-hour statement an expiry date?

No. It is part of the brand's performance description, not a manufacturing date, a shelf-life declaration or an instruction to discard the bottle 12 hours after opening.

Can Polyquaternium-117 be entered as the NailDOC batch code?

No. It identifies an ingredient. Check the separately printed product markings rather than submitting the ingredient number.

PDS Derma: a nail serum and a light device are different products

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • For NailDOC, keep the product name and the complete marked area together. Read an explicitly labelled manufacturing or expiry date as a date; retain a separate LOT field without combining it with an ingredient name or a device identifier.
  • Polyquaternium-117 appears in NailDOC's ingredient information. The number 117 is part of that ingredient name, not a year, a production lot or a count of days remaining.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Record when you first open the serum and follow any expiry or after-opening instruction on your own package. Do not assign it an opening period from a PediClear device manual.
  • For packaging questions, send PDS clear photographs of the product name and markings. For PediClear questions, include the device model and any serial label instead of treating those details as serum batch information.

What to check next for PDS Derma

For PDS Derma, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
