Solarium Batch and Date Guide | Sunscreen and After-Sun

Solarium's Sun Protection range includes creams, milks, sprays and sticks. Sun After is the after-sun range, while Total Sun includes tanning products. Record the range and full product name before comparing package markings.

Solarium FAQ

Does the SPF on My Summer Duo apply to its after-sun too?

No. The set pairs an SPF sun milk with an after-sun cream. Read the protection information on the sunscreen itself; the set name does not give the after-sun an SPF.

Is Solarium Protective Bi-Phase Oil a face sunscreen?

It is a separate hair product. Do not substitute its label or use directions for those of a face-and-body sunscreen.

Can I use last summer's Solarium sunscreen just because it smells normal?

Smell is not a UV-protection test. Check the expiry, opening history and storage conditions. Do not use expired sunscreen; if its age is unknown, replace it.

Separate Solarium sun protection from after-sun care

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • For My Summer Duo, photograph the sunscreen and after-sun separately. A set can contain two different formulas, so a marking on the gift packaging should not replace the record for each container.
  • Keep SPF with the product name when distinguishing similar sun milks. Read any printed expiry and opening-period symbol separately from the production code; do not put the SPF value into the batch field.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Take label and base photos before a beach trip, while the packaging is clean. Include tube seams where relevant, without assuming that all Solarium formats use one printing position.
  • Keep sunscreen away from excessive heat and direct sun. A batch date does not override a printed expiry date or the storage instructions.

What to check next for Solarium

For Solarium, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
