MCM Perfume Batch Code

MCM’s fragrance catalog includes MCM Eau de Parfum, Diamond, Cosmic Star, travel sprays, gift sets, and character bottles such as Mighty Bear, Darling Doxie, Charming Pup, and Cozy Cat. Because MCM is also a leather-goods house, its fragrance pages display style references and EANs that identify the retail item but do not date the liquid.

MCM FAQ

Is the MCM style number the perfume batch code?

No. The style number and EAN identify a product configuration; the fragrance lot is a separate shorter mark.

Can an MCM bag serial number be checked here?

No. Leather goods and fragrance use different identification systems.

Does one MCM gift-set code date every miniature?

Not reliably. Inspect each bottle base and the outer carton.

MCM perfume lot and date check

Before you rely on the decoded date

  • Inspect the fragrance bottle base or lower label and the carton base or flap for a compact inked, laser-etched, or embossed lot. An MCM style reference such as the longer MPF… format, an EAN, 30/50/75/100 mL size, bottle color, or Stark Backpack design description is not the filling code.
  • Travel sprays, standard Eau de Parfum bottles, character bottles, and miniature gift sets use different glass and cartons. Match the exact scent and size before comparing marks, and inspect every miniature in a collection set because it may not share the outer-box code.

Common lookup mistakes

  • Photograph the bottle base, carton ends, product name, volume, EAN/style reference, and short lot as separate fields.
  • Store MCM fragrance upright in a cool, dark place; assess leakage, cloudiness, atomizer failure, and a major scent change even when a batch estimate is recent.

What to check next for MCM

For MCM, combine the decoded date with product type, PAO, storage, and seller context before deciding whether to open, keep, replace, or buy.
